A little bit about me...

Every part of You Bloom Collective has grown from my own journey, through creativity, motherhood, self-discovery, and a deep desire to help others feel comfortable in their own skin. What began as a love of fashion evolved into a passion for understanding people, their stories, and what helps them feel truly themselves.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved fashion. My mum loves to tell the story of how, at eight years old, I’d sit for hours with my felt-tip pens, drawing dresses in all kinds of colours and designs, completely absorbed in the joy of creating something beautiful. That early fascination led me to study textiles at school and later pursue a fashion degree at UAL in London, where I knew I wanted to build a life rooted in creativity and self-expression.

I later worked in sales and marketing for a global fashion brand, developing strong relationships with clients and learning the importance of connection, integrity, and authenticity within the creative world.

When I became a mum, life shifted in new and unexpected ways. I co-founded a small sweatshirt brand with my sister, creating embroidered garments with uplifting messages on the sleeves. What began as a creative outlet soon became something more meaningful, women started sharing their stories with us, telling us how our pieces gave them comfort and strength through difficult times. That connection opened my eyes to what I truly wanted: to support people on a deeper, more personal level.

That realisation led me to retrain as a person-centred counsellor. My training was both professional and deeply personal, a journey of learning, healing, and rediscovering who I am. It taught me that it’s okay to simply be me, and that self-acceptance is one of the most powerful forms of freedom.

Now, through You Bloom Collective, I bring these worlds together, therapy and style, to help people reconnect with who they are, inside and out. My background in fashion and experience in styling allow me to support clients in expressing their identity in ways that feel authentic and empowering. My goal is simple: to create a space where you can grow, heal, and express yourself with compassion, confidence, and authenticity.

Alongside this, You Bloom Nutrition is led by a qualified nutritionist who shares the same holistic, person-centred ethos. Together, we offer an integrated approach to wellbeing, supporting you to nurture your mind, body, and sense of self with compassion and care.

What matters most to me is creating a space where you can grow, heal, and express yourself with confidence, authenticity, and self-compassion.

Through You Bloom Collective, therapy, style, and nutrition come together to support your wellbeing, helping you feel balanced, connected, and more like yourself, inside and out.

If you feel drawn to begin your own journey toward self-understanding and confidence, it would be a privilege to support you along the way.

FAQ
I see you offer both therapy and styling - how does that work?

Absolutely. You Bloom offers two separate services: Counselling (You Bloom Therapy) and Style Coaching (You Bloom Style). The counselling sessions will be with Amy, working confidentially and in line with professional and ethical guidelines.

Style Coaching is a separate, non-clinical service that focuses on self-expression, embodiment, and identity.

You’re welcome to access either service on its own, or combine the two as part of a more holistic journey. Whichever path you choose, we work with clear boundaries, transparency, and a strong ethical foundation.

Can we talk about fashion & body confidence in therapy?

If it is relevant to your emotional wellbeing, of course. Topics like body image, self-worth, identity, and how you relate to your appearance often come up in therapy. But if you'd like practical wardrobe help or styling support, that would be better to a style session and I can guide you accordingly.

Can I work with you as both a therapy & styling client?

Yes, absolutely, and we’ll keep each part of your journey distinct. Therapy sessions with Amy focus on your emotional wellbeing, while style coaching with me supports your external expression and personal style. Keeping the two roles separate means you receive the full benefit of both, with clarity, care, and healthy boundaries.
