Here, you’ll find room to slow down, reflect, and truly be heard. Whether you’re navigating specific challenges or simply sensing that something doesn’t feel quite right, therapy offers gentle support to help you understand yourself more deeply and move forward with compassion and clarity.
Rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect, our approach offers a calm, understanding space where you can explore what’s happening for you, free from judgement or pressure, and entirely at your own pace.
You Bloom Therapy is grounded in the belief that you already hold within you the potential for growth and healing, whatever that may look like for you. Through genuine connection and care, we’ll work together to help you feel more like yourself, inside and out.
Our Approach
At the heart of You Bloom Therapy is the understanding that you are the expert on your own experience. Our role is to walk alongside you, to listen, reflect, and help you make sense of what feels difficult, at a pace that feels right for you.
Person-centred counselling is founded on empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. It’s not about being given answers or advice, but about creating a space to explore your thoughts and emotions freely, and to develop a deeper sense of self-compassion and clarity.
You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal to begin therapy. Sometimes, it’s simply about having a safe place to bring what feels heavy or confusing, and finding moments of relief and understanding along the way.
Sessions start at £45 (50 minutes).
We also offer a free 15-minute discovery chat, a relaxed opportunity to connect, share what’s brought you here, and see whether working together feels right for you.
Counselling is offered online or in-person in the mid Cornwall area.

Sarah
As the founder of You Bloom Collective, my approach is gentle, reflective, and rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can explore what’s happening for you at your own pace, without judgement or expectation.
My background in creativity and working closely with people in fashion has shaped how I understand identity, confidence, and the stories we carry about ourselves. Alongside my experience of motherhood and personal growth, it’s given me a deep appreciation for how tender life can feel, and how powerful it is to be truly heard.
My work is grounded in the person-centred belief that you already hold the capacity for healing and growth. Together, we gently explore what helps you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels compassionate, supportive, and true.

Amy
Amy brings a warm and grounded presence to her work, shaped by her background in youth work, education, family support, social work, and many years of experience as a parent practitioner working with parents and young people. As a mum to two grown-up children, she understands how relationships, identity, and priorities can shift and evolve over time.
Her approach is empathetic, patient, and rooted in a genuine belief in the strength and worth of every person she meets. She offers a safe and supportive space for exploring whatever may be weighing on you, whether that’s anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or a more general sense of feeling lost, overwhelmed, or stuck.
Her intention is always to create a space where you can pause, breathe, and begin to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Counselling with Amy isn’t about rushing toward quick fixes; it’s about giving yourself permission to slow down, to notice what’s happening within you, and to gently find a way forward that feels true to who you are.

For us, this speaks to the understanding that growth isn’t about reaching a perfect version of yourself, it’s about allowing yourself to keep unfolding, learning, and becoming more you. Life will always move and change, and that’s okay. What matters is the direction you’re moving in, toward greater self-understanding, compassion, and authenticity.
Therapy can be part of that process: a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with who you are and where you want to go, at your own pace.

We offer both counselling and style/ confidence coaching through You Bloom Collective. These services are distinct in nature and are delivered with full respect for professional and ethical boundaries.
- You Bloom Therapy refers to our counselling sessions, delivered by qualified counsellors in line with BACP's ethical guidelines. These sessions are private, confidential, and focused on emotional well being and mental health
- You Bloom Styling is a non-clinical service designed to support self expression, embodiment and personal growth. These sessions are not a substitute for therapy.
Clients are welcome to access one or both services, but they are delivered separately by different members of the team to ensure clarity, safety, and client autonomy at all times.
